Still with the writing woes. Upload booze. I've got a better handle on my protag (he's very cute, in his "Joss Whedon Is My Master Now" t-shirt), but what he's going to do about the situation he's in is still being...problematic. Gah.

Between watching "Dukes of Hazzard" DVDs (the TV show, not that odious movie), watching "True Blood," and listening to this radio station...

I'm discovering that my Texas accent, which I lost when I moved to Utah, has now come back with a vengeance.

*facepalm*

Speaking of "True Blood," I just watched last week's ep, and all I have to say is Omigaaaaaaaaaaah. Oh, and Jason (whom I didn't like much in S1 and most of this season, until he started kicking ass and taking names) is totally rocking the casbah these days. How did he get so awesome? I'd like to watch it again and do live commentary with someone else over IM. Who's with me?

Last night's True Blood.

AUGH.

I knew it was coming. I'm still kind of gutted.

Ange and Janni are having a conversation. This is a conversation that absolutely positively needs to happen, especially considering what Ben just said to Ange (in front of Janni).

I have no idea where it's going. I have no idea what needs to be said next. I have no idea what this, this thing even is between Ben and Ange, and apparently neither do they.

And poor Ben can't contribute anything to the conversation because he's unconscious. He'd probably just want to hide anyway.

This is just PEACHY. *smacks characters*

Also, I need to figure out what would poison a werewolf besides wolfsbane. That someone would coat over a wooden crossbow bolt meant for a vampire.

ARGH. *runs around in circles, screaming*

The other thing I'm wrestling with is that now Janni needs to get some sleep, because it's not like she got any when Ben was missing. And, since she stayed up, to keep the nightmares away, while he crashed and burned for nine hours, he kind of feels obligated to do the same for her--as he should.

At the same time, there's a conversation with Alex that he really needs to have. Although I guess Alex could wander into their stateroom while Janni's asleep and they could have that convo, but I'm not sure Ben wants to chance Janni hearing... well. Sordid details. But if she shoos him away, I'm not sure that's a viable option either.

In other news, I'm loving "Leverage."

In other other news, I got to watch last night's True Blood ep, and all I have to say is: ( Spoilers ahoy... )

And I did. Doubled my wordcount goal, which puts me back on the horse, go me.

But I also watched the latest "True Blood" ep. And then, of course, I went to the lovely and effulgent marishna's site for screencaps, and made some more Sam wallpaper. Because that's what I do these days. Also, *points* icon.

Yes, I'm still on a Polaroid kick, sue me.

And making wallpaper. Because I have a massive headache barely mitigated by two naproxen (which didn't touch it) and two ibuprofen (which have, but not much, my head still feels like my brain is too big for my skull).

I'm still mulling Plot. Blargh.

In other news, is there anyone on my flist who's watching True Blood who wants to watch it with me and squee over IM? I don't get to watch it live, alas, but I'll probably have it tomorrow night. This is not a show I'll be inflicting on the Hubby.

But once I did that, I sat down and marathoned the last three eps of S1 of True Blood.

Bill...continues to be boring. Mainly, right now, I'm pointing and laughing. Pam continues to rock; she needs way more screentime than she's getting. I actually have decided that I actually quite like Sookie. This realization came about when she ran out of the bar and then couldn't swear. It was just about the cutest damn thing I've ever seen.

Terry Bellefleur continues to break my heart every time I see him.

The fact that the vampire fangs are in the wrong place offends the biologist in me. It bugs.

So, anyway. You know me. There was wallpaper to be made.
