The other thing I'm wrestling with is that now Janni needs to get some sleep, because it's not like she got any when Ben was missing. And, since she stayed up, to keep the nightmares away, while he crashed and burned for nine hours, he kind of feels obligated to do the same for her--as he should.

At the same time, there's a conversation with Alex that he really needs to have. Although I guess Alex could wander into their stateroom while Janni's asleep and they could have that convo, but I'm not sure Ben wants to chance Janni hearing... well. Sordid details. But if she shoos him away, I'm not sure that's a viable option either.

In other news, I'm loving "Leverage."

In other other news, I got to watch last night's True Blood ep, and all I have to say is: I KNEW DAPHNE HAD TO BE AN EVIL BITCH. I KNEW IT I KNEW IT I KNEW IT. Because Sam is the woobie and never gets a break. He needs to quit sleeping with the help; that's a bad habit and never ever ends well.

Also, how much do I love love LOVE Terry Bellefleur? *dies* Seriously, along with Sam and Pam, he's one of my favorite characters. I hope they do more with him as time unfolds.

Well, Alex does seem rather prone to wanderings in general, midnight and otherwise (with some scotch or something in hand, no doubt), and since he still feels some responsibility for Ben and Janni, I could see him wanting to check on them. And considering how completely exhausted Janni is, she's probably sleeping like a rock, hard enough that Ben and Alex can at least have a quiet conversation in the room without waking her.

I mean, when I'm coming off 24 hours straight of travel from Anchorage to Europe, say, especially when I get in sometime in the morning and have to wait another 12 hours or something to sleep, I crash hard. Especially assuming the bed's comfortable and people aren't, like, having a party when I'm trying to sleep, once I'm out I'd probably be rather harder to wake than usual.

I can definitely see Alex wandering around his yacht at midnight, at loose ends because he doesn't have any extreme sports to keep him occupied that time of night but he can't sleep anyway (and maybe he's still feeling some residual effect from Bosnia and having some nightmares of his own)...

It could work. :)
