Oh, Jack. *snuggles*

Dude. He ripped out a guy's carotid artery. With his teeth. How hardcore is that???

In other news, the weather blows, man. It's FIVE FREAKING DEGREES OUTSIDE. To my friends in other countries that use that weird celsius stuff, that's FIFTEEN BELOW ZERO. Global warming, my ass. Send some our way, k?

My brother was watching 24 for the first time and he had a few questions but I had to keep shushing him because he was interrupting my endless string of "What did they do to my beloved Jack?" You just can't keep that man down.

I'd like to know what Milo's doing back, or if it's just supposed to be some big joke. He hasn't really done anything so far, not that he's been given a whole lot of time, but I'd like someone to reference the fact that he was once there and now he's not.

Perhaps he and Kiefer discussed their old roles as vampires together! As soon as Jack took that bite I started saying "He was a vampire in some 80's movie that I can't remember the name of!" I think that vampires should be the next threat Jack faces. Joss Whedon can consult, and there can be a dramatic scene on a spaceship, and a girl can dream, can't she?

Oh, you really need to... because Kiefer is just so pretty in that movie.

"I'd like someone to reference the fact that he was once there and now he's not."

I watched part of Season 1 on DVD, so I remember he was on there... why did it seem that he had no idea who Jack Bauer was??? I can't remember if they had scenes together in Season 1 (although, as I said, I didn't get to finish it yet) but he seemed confused when Chloe was really upset about Jack.

I didn't notice any confusion about who Jack was, and there shouldn't be because there were definitely scenes together. It makes sense that he wouldn't know about Chloe and Jack too well since he disappeared part of the way through season 1 (on an extra-long coffee break that involved many quickly-cancelled tv shows) and Chloe didn't show up until season 3.

Ohhh, okay. See I haven't seen Season 2 or 3 so I didn't know when Chloe came in or when Milo left.

I need to borrow my parents' Season 1 and Season 2, lol.

If I'm not completely bonkers -- and hey, it's been years since I've watched my box sets of seasons 1 and 2 -- I don't even think Milo was in s2.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please! : )

According to the '24' site, Milo's profile says he was in the Denver CTU unit for a couple of years - gotta love the backstories the site and writers create :)

I just remembered he was on Buffy. As was DB Woodside! I wonder if Eric and DB talked about their days with the Slayer (although Eric's were probably about two, lol, while DB had a good part of Season 7)

Vampire-like Jack... yuck. I thought he played a vamp in a movie before, although I haven't seen it (is that the Lost Boys?)

Poor Jack. He escapes torture from the Chinese to be tortured by a terrorist. What fun! lol. He needs a day off. If it's not one thing, it's another. He needs to go on vacation (with Audrey)!

I can't wait till tomorrow to see what happens.

Dude. I've never even seen the show and I think he's awesome.

Jack Bauer is the new Chuck Norris, except cooler.

The carotid artery? Eww! He was going to need a breath mint after that. We just had to cheer that Jack escaped. Can't keep Jack down.

It was so good to see Chloe again. Good to see her doing the end round once more.

Will the Prez please get rid of that little weenie Tom? He is seriously getting on my nerves.

And, why is everyone always amazed that Jack is right. Jack is always right, and no one (but Chloe) ever believes him. I would think once, just once, someone would say that the odds were in Jack's favor of being right.

Poor Jack. Gets away from Chinese torture just to end up in the torture chair again. My son asked me if there is a standard torture kit, because that roll up tool set looked like all other torture scenes ever shown. I told him it was probably available on ebay.

Oh, and we have wind chills of 7 below. Yeah, I'm just not able to take global warming seriously right now.

Yeah I don't like that Tom guy. He's soo annoying. I really hope he turns out like Walter Cummings and is really a bad guy. But that'd be too predictable, lol. Oh, wait... the show's already predictable! (I still love it though)

I was so upset when the Prez and everyone were like "no Jack we don't believe you." It's like, WTF? Why would he lie? He's saved the country countless times, survived in the face of death countless times, and it's like "nope sorry we're not listening!" and then when they find out he is, in fact, right (like always) they're like "ooooh nooo, we screwed up, we're sorry Jack, we'll trust you next time!" lol

Every time! They never believe Jack (except Chloe who always pays the price for being loyal), the country goes to hell in a handbasket, then they turn to Jack to save them. Every time! By now, wouldn't they be figuring out that Jack is a pretty reliable boy?

Jack is the man.

You know, with another other show and any other character, if the writers tried to pull that carotid artery trick I'd be rolling my eyes and changing the channel. But it's Jack! All I could think was how incredibly clever... What the bad guy didn't realize was that Jack was only in his clutches because he wanted to be.

You are SO not reassuring me with this talk of temperatures! *shivers in anticipation*

Oh, and I'm going to try to videotape The Dresden Files before I live California, OK? *crosses fingers that certain personages I'm crashing with Sunday night still have Sci-Fi channel* That way we can watch that, amongst the other things we will no doubt have plenty of opportunity to mock. *grin*

Jack rocks. Always has, always will. There's a great research/meta paper there, examining why Jack is the way he is.

He ripped out a guy's carotid artery. With his teeth.

I know!! I almost tossed my cookies on that one! I couldn't believe they did that, but at the same time it was just so Jack, ya know? Every season this show just amazes me with the stuff they come up with.

Also, send some of that cold our way please. Pennsylvania has been unseasonably warm this year. We've had one snow squall all winter. I'd like Boo to see his first snow.
