American Idol: The judges are complaining about song choice. Well, DUH. 21st Century music? Sucks, dudes. *is old and curmudgeonly* They're all sucking tonight. Bleh. For the record, Simon giving sartorial advice to Taylor is snerk-worthy, and Bucky? Dude, the multiple earrings have GOT TO GO, and you have to quit singing like you've got a mouthful of marbles. Yeah. Tonight sucked. I'm with Simon, if I'd been paying for this concert, I would have asked for my money back.

The House, MD Drinking Game!
  • Misdirection at the beginning as to who the POTW is going to be? Check. She was sneezing. For the record, on the role-play? EW.
  • Now House and Wilson are LIVING TOGETHER like an old married couple. Bickering, three times.
  • Wager, check
  • Medicam!
  • Patients with less-than-orthodox sex lives, check.
  • Race brought up in relation to Foreman. Discussing ants, and the difference in skin color between Beyonce and Halle Berry, of all things. Heh.
  • Light-bulb moment from a clinic patient! Although what they had to do with each other, I have no idea.
  • Wrong diagnosis: lupus
  • Patient in arrest, check.
  • And they brought him back.
  • Trying a treatment to see if the diagnosis was correct, check.
  • House snarked at Cameron about the potential "attractiveness" of the patient now that he needs a lung transplant. Heh.

Macadamia nut pancakes sound like HEAVEN. *slobbers* And you know House erased the message at the end because he likes Wilson's cooking. *snickers*

ETA: Oh! And! I'm getting a new printer! For those uneasy about clicking links, it's an Epson Stylus CX7800 all-in-one, and I'm going to hug it and squeeze it and call it "George." We're going to go buy it tomorrow. Maybe now I can do the [livejournal.com profile] writercon icon pins justice. *crosses fingers* There's a way to do layouts and print stuff in PSP, so I'm hopeful. Of course, I can't do it right this minute, because it requires a printer to be installed on the computer. So that'll be my project for tomorrow, between aerobics, walking, laundry, vacuuming, and three and a half hours of TV, and somewhere in there we'll go to Circuit City and get the printer. I should call the comic book store and see if they've got my comic there yet too.

    Whee.

I'm beginning to think that "Someone suggests lupus as a possible solution" should be added to the game. Isn't it mentioned every other episode or so? And it's never right, of course.

They suggest Wegener's a lot too. And they pronounce it wrong. *snerk*

I think it was the gold of the wedding ring suggesting a heavy metal they hadn't yet tested for.

That's my guess, anyway.

Do you have rules for your drinking game, btw?

Yeah, but he had a light-bulb moment with the same clinic patient earlier in the show as well that made him suspect the wife in the first place. I guess it's the whole "people lie" thing and possibly his attitude that there's no such thing as a happy marriage.

there's no such thing as a happy marriage

Except, of course, for House and Wilson... :)

okay, since I didn't get to see House last night, I really appreciate the highlights, but ... what are you talking about w/ the message machine and liking Wilson's cooking? I'm a bit confused.

Wilson had an apartment lined up, but the landlord left a message on House's machine saying that he'd gotten a better offer on it, but if Wilson would match the offer, he'd still rent to him and call him back by such and such a time. House erased the message without telling Wilson about it. And I think it's because Wilson is a fantastic cook. He apparently did some sort of salad thing that House STOLE, and macadamia nut pancakes, and stuffed peppers that were really good. Hee.
