And now I'm writing actual!Iron Man fanfic. Because I've got an image in my head of Harry and Harmony and it should be Tony and Pepper and gorramit I really didn't want to go there but here I am. I'm such an angst-puppy. Gah.

Also, IMDB is being singularly uncooperative with the quotes for Iron Man. It looks like many of them came from the shooting script rather than the actual movie. And watching interviews with RDJ and Jon, we know that Robert walked into Jon's trailer on a daily basis with the day's pages in his hand, crumpled them up, and threw them against the wall, and they pretty much made the dialogue up as they went. So, yeah. Anyone have the actual quote from Tony after Pepper has her hand in his chest? Was it "You're all I have?" Argh.

In other news, LJ is bringing back Basic Accounts at the end of summer. *applauds*

125.2 this morning. Hubby thinks I look "hot." *grins* And I'll think of it as "2.8" more pounds to go rather than "3" because that makes it feel as though I'm still making progress. Of course, that might also mean I relax about it a little, which I really can't afford to do, so it's a two-edged sword.

Another rejection in the inbox. Whee. No one loves me. Or the CatFeet story.

Anyone reading this going to WorldCon? Hello? Anyone?

In an effort to get my flist down to a manageable size, I'm going to start leaving communities I'm not participating in anymore. This includes most fanfic comms. Since I'm not writing fanfic at all, and I'm reading hardly any of it, it doesn't make any sense to stay in them.

In other news, the Spike: Shadow Puppets comic came out today. I didn't pick it up because (a) I'm broke, and (b) We get paid tomorrow, and I'm going to the Utah Arts Festival, and there's a comic store right there in Library Square, so I'll pick it up then.

And I realize that I'm one of the few people on my flist who's picking up the Angel comics as they come out, but even people who don't read comics might be interested in this...

BECAUSE:

Spike gets turned into a puppet.

And so does Lorne.

Seriously. What's not to love there?

Also, I'm printing out the CatFeet and Werewolf Fics to ship off tomorrow. This will make six stories out and about and one sold. I really should email [livejournal.com profile] foxcutter about the DragonFic and touch bases with him...

LJ/6A has a response.

Oops.

Ya think??? Holy crap, what a screw-up of monumental proportions. It remains to be seen if this is too little, too late, but I suppose it's something. As a precaution, I backed up my LJ and wandered over to GJ to have a look.

Maybe LJ will take a lesson from this: Just because a person is "interested" in a certain topic does not mean they "support doing" that thing. Words mean things, folks.
