Say what you like about that boy, he is not afraid of who he is. He should totally win this competition. Hands down. He's got the best voice, he's got the Whole Performer Package...yeah. He should win.

No, not you. I went to check my Yahoo email, and they have a news splash page before you get to your inbox, and the results were right there on top. GAAAAAAAAH.

And America proves, once again, that it's happy with second best. Only in this case, it was more like third best, because it should have been Gokey up there on the stage with Adam rather than Kris.

Kris's reaction was very very classy, though. Made me respect him a lot. *nods*

Adam should've one!!! But yeah, Kris was very classy. But even he knew that Adam should've one.

Although, maybe it's best that Adam didn't win because now he's not tied down to any American Idol contract. I wonder when his first CD will be out?

Not that you could see us, but my roommate and I were in the San Diego crowd, behind all of the signs. It was a very quiet crowd at the end.

The whole show was kind of epic. Other than the rap. I could have done without that. But the rest? Cindi Lauper, Rod Stewart, Lionel Ritchie, Steve Freakin' MARTIN??? Kiss AND Queen? Yespleasegivememoreofthat.

Also, Keith Urban has very very pretty arms. Mmm.

Couldn't agree more. That was an amazing show (rap excluded - just not my thing). I kept bouncing. There may have been some squealing, but I won't swear to it.

At least Adam gets to do his own kind of album now. He'll have much more freedom.

That's what I said to the Hubby. He doesn't buy it that the AI producers would have no idea what to do with someone so far out of what "mainstream" is, but... well. I think he won't be hamstrung, and that will be a good thing for him.

Funny how the best music tonight was stuff that came out in the 80s...
