The good news is that the left side of my mouth is done. Yay. Not only that, but today's dental visit didn't cost anything.

The bad news is that now they get to go to work on the right side of my mouth. He doesn't know yet if I need a root canal and crown there yet; I'll find out next week. Whee.

So much hate for this. Also, my mad needle fear got a workout today. *sigh* I guess I should finish reading the not!kkbb/im thing and implementing the changes that need to be done, with that fresh in my mind. Because projecting my own fears onto one of my characters lends verisimiltude!

Also, I have a new adventure in mind for not!Harry and not!Perry. We'll see how it shakes out...

ALSO. I LOVE YOU ALL MADLY. You know that, right? *smishes flist HARD* Thank you so so so much for your comments last night. Sometimes I feel a little lonely here, and it's lovely to see that most people truly are tolerant of people who disagree with them. My faith in humanity is somewhat restored. THANK YOU.

{{{{hugs}}}} on the whole teeth situation. I have managed to avoid a dentist since the 1980's (nope.....NOT really good as my teeth and gums will attest) still I just imagine a dentist taking a look and planning that Rio vacation he's always wanted LOL. I know it is painful and stressful so be good to yourself.

The other good news on the teeth front is that my gums don't bleed anymore and the Hubby says that my breath is vastly improved. So, I guess it'll be worth it once it's all done. And I feel you on the "not since the 80's" thing, because it'd been nearly that long for me too. Thus the mess that my mouth is in.

As you've probably already guessed, I've learned yet again that there are some good people on the internet, and some not-so-good people. The good people tolerate other views, even if they voice their own personal disagreement over such views. The not-so-good people lash out and create mountains out of molehills.

I believe you are one of the good people. And I also believe that your are entitled to your own views, opinions, and beliefs. Aren't we all?

And "Boo!" for more dental work. I sympathize!

Just one or two more visits, and then it'll be routine maintenance. Maybe I'll actually keep up with that and not wait over ten years between visits again...

I will tell you that the dentist makes all the difference. I went three years without exams because the guy I was going to was grumpy and physically rough. I knew something had to give when I broke two teeth and wouldn't go to him.

The new guy is wonderful - blue tents and all. Hope you have good, patient, understanding and pain-free experiences!

Oh, golly yes. I can watch DVDs or listen to my own music while they're working on my mouth, which makes a quite pleasant distraction. In fact, last time I took my copy of "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" with me, and today the dentist told me he'd seen it at Walmart in the $5 bin, bought it, and loved it. So, yay for another convert. *evil laughter*
