The Plot Bunny has returned, been captured, and I've sequestered him securely in the Hutch.

We went to see Kung Fu Panda and Prince Caspian last night at the drive-in, and a character in PC said something about "fairy tales," and that brought it back.

This makes me unreasonably happy. I don't know if I'll be able to actually, you know, do anything with it, but at least I have the Bunny and I can mull it over until I have Plot.

What did you think about Prince Caspian?

Thoroughly enjoyed it and hope we get the other five books as movies, too, so I can have a shiny shiny boxed set.

Of course, it's been ages since I've read the book, so my enjoyment of the movie wasn't colored by preconceptions of what it should have been and I was able to love it for what it was.

How were the movies? Still not sure about whether I want to see Kung Fu Panda, and I'm kind of excited about PC but am half-waiting for the DVD because I'm not sure I have time to go to the movies more than once before it goes out of theaters, and I'm saving that for Iron Man. Worth making the time for?

Kung Fu Panda was....eh. Okay. Very very pretty, but not a whole lotta substance there. The characters didn't really seem to need to try too hard to succeed at what they were doing, and they were pretty cardboard-ish. But the animation is gorgeous, and there's a fight scene on a rope bridge that's pretty breathtaking.

Prince Caspian, however, rocked my socks. That one's a keeper.

Yay! What a wonderful inspiration for the revival of your plot bunny.

And for the record, it is a very common writer's fear that once you've completed all your writing projects that your inspiration will desert you. Trust me, it will always come back. ;)
