A writer for The Daily Show gives a report. Understand that I've never actually seen The Daily Show, but this is hilarious and points up exactly why I'm supporting the writers in the WGA strike.

I just had a thought...

The writers' strike means that, once my shows are done with in the next month or so, I can start catching up with BSG again. Heh.

You know... I've been a bit ashamed to admit that I've actually found myself somewhat relieved that the strike means we're going to be getting a break soon. Because I'm behind on so many shows, it'll give me a LOT of time to get caught up.

I've picked up more new shows this season than I ever have, and we're watching eight hour-long shows every week. But the studios can't pay the writers for the brilliance they're churning out and making me tune in so they can sell their ads! Oh, NO!

You know, I'm probably the last person on earth that supports unions. No one cheered louder than me when my Hubby's fellow pilots resoundingly rejected ALPO representation. Most of the time unions just piss me off. But this time, they have a point, and I'm behind the writers a thousand percent.
