It's snowing.

AUGH. It's not even October yet.

Mother Nature is a bitch, y'all.

Of course, that might have something to do with you living up on a high plateau and all... ; )

But I don't! I live in a valley! A desert valley! And it's only September!

A desert valley at an altitude of... 4200 feet above sea level? *grin*

Well, 4400, but STILL. Snow. In September. NOT COOL.

We expect this stuff on the benches. Not down here. And not in frelling September. I couldn't even see my mountains through my kitchen window today.

And we're not talking a few flakes here and there between raindrops. We're talking big fat flakes falling steadily out of the sky. It looks more like December out there than September. *cries*

At least today is better. Silly MPD weather... It's 70 right now.

And you're quite welcome. I'm a bit of a dog nerd. *g*

I'm actually more of a cat person....but after the K9 police demo at my work "summer" party (yeah....in the snow) last night I was very impressed and wanted to see if there were any lj comms about police dogs....there weren't....so I decided to make one. I've got oodles of pics from the demo I want to post....and am also going to put on disc for the K9 officers.

We've helped lots of the SLC police dogs....the last one I personally worked with was "Elvis" who, in the past chased a suspect over a freeway bridge...sustaining multiple fractures. He came in with a GDV (bloat) and needed surgery a few months ago--he's retired but there were still many officers who came to visit him during his recuperation from surgery!!!!!
