The Washington DC Circuit Court has struck down DC's 30-year-old ban on handguns, citing the 2nd Amendment as an individual right. More here.

I do believe that this is the first time this has happened.

As a self-admitted 2nd Amendment Fundamentalist and the wife of a Concealed Carry permit holder... yeah, I'm doing a little chair-dance right now.

When I saw that news, I thought for sure that it'd be all over my flist.

I thought it'd be someone on the other side who posted first.
