Paula, honey, the reason the rest of the guys around Sanjaya aren't "lifting him up" is because the rest of them are as dull as dirt.

I still don't know most of their names...

My top three guys are Blake, Sundance, and Sligh. Not necessarily in that order. But they're the only ones with any personality at all.

As for the girls, they're better, vocally, than the guys, but the only one I really care about is the little backup singer with no neck, whose name escapes me. *shakes head* Really weak this year, folks. REALLY weak.

Sanjaya did better... but not enough. He's had THREE chances to wow the judges (and me). Frankly I'd like to see him go... but I do hope he gets a lot of experience and ends up making it big a few years down the road.

The best performances tonight were Phil and Jared. But even then, they didn't match the girls the first week (I missed the girls last week). Both Chris's were good too. The others ones, I thought were just ok. Although I'd like to see Blake stay because he's really unique and talented... just not a great performance tonight. I predict Brandon and Sanjaya will be leaving, but who knows what will happen...

The backup singer is Melinda (I remember that because it's my mom's name, lol). I really like her... and you're right, she doesn't really have a neck (at least doesn't show it). I never thought about it before.

Lakisha is still my fav. The guys are for the most part boring. I think the judges blew it this year with some of their choices. Gah!
