You know, Elliot and Kat are good. They can sing. I wouldn't take that away from them at all.

That being said...they don't do a thing for me and never have. Bland vs Bland. For the briefest moment, I thought Kat was going to do "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" a capella, and was terribly disappointed that she didn't. *sigh* It would have been a gutsy move and made it REALLY special. Ah well. It was nice. And the red shoes were a cute touch. I wonder if there's going to be a backlash against her this week because, honestly, she should have been gone last week and Chris's fans are very unhappy.

The fact that Bruce Springsteen allowed Taylor to sing "Dancing in the Dark" is teh awesome, and he brought it home for us. I <3 him. So very much. My theory that they were going to sandbag him this week was (thankfully) wrong. "You Are So Beautiful" was absolutely gorgeous.

Shave, Ryan. Muppets can't get away with the scruffy look.

I got chills up and down my arms when Taylor sang "You Are So Beautiful".

I really like Elliot, but he was rather drab this week. I think Katharine will move on. After last week, this stuns me.

I'm still waiting for someone to sing an a capella song the way Bo did last year. Or at least just use one instrument instead of the entire orchestra.

I had the exact same thought. It would've been truly special.

I *heart* Taylor. And even if I think he's not as talented vocally then previous winners, he definitely has charisma and is entertaining. He's my pick. :-)
