Well. I'm better today.

And hopefully I'll be even better tomorrow and actually open the BearFic and poke it some.

My fever broke sometime yesterday after I spent most of the day laid out on the couch. And I've lost 3.6 lbs in the last two days, with, no doubt, more tomorrow, because I've done this thing called not eating. Even peanut butter (the last of the peanut butter!) left me cold, and I gave up after eating less than half the sandwich. However, it's making me horribly horribly thirsty. I'm sucking water down, but it's not helping, and my tongue just feels weird.

In a startling reversal of how such things usually go, I've managed to pass this on to Da Boy. Poor little guy, he was miserable today. The quiet was nice, but...disturbing.

Hopefully I'll want to eat tomorrow, especially since the Steelers are playing. Pizza sounds fabulous...or it would, if I were remotely hungry.

I noticed that Amazon had Heroes S1 on sale for $24.99 today (while ordering my own Christmas gifts, and how much does the Hubby ROCK for getting me what he's getting me? DUDES), and it occurred to me to wonder tonight whether Best Buy also had it on sale, because I got a $25 gift card from my Lil Bro for Christmas. Lo and behold, they did. However, the sale ends TODAY. But I did my intarwebs-fu and ordered that puppy STAT, and it should soon be in my hot little hands--for the princely sum of $3.83 out of pocket.

Anyone who hasn't gotten their DVDs yet, now is kind of a perfect time. You don't see prices like that every day, especially on a (fairly) new release like this.
