Random update-y... thing.
Jun. 12th, 2007 02:07 pmMany thanks to everyone for their birthday wishes yesterday! You guys all rock. *hugs*
The Hubby took us to see "Surf's Up" at an actual indoor theater yesterday (as opposed to the drive-in, which is okay, but doesn't give you the fine detail that a regular theater does), and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It's completely predictable and utterly formulaic, but the storytelling is done in such a charming way that you don't really notice until it's over. And there's a funny little thing at the end of the credits. Also, PENGUINS.
I also got to meet with my Writing Buddy, who gave me an excellent suggestion for making the beginning of the Werewolf Fic a lot stronger. I've beaten it into shape (it's amazing how much time you can take over three hundred words), and I think this is the one that I'm going to ship off to Writers of the Future next. I don't want to be put in the position I was in last quarter, where everything I had was out and I didn't have anything else, so I had to scribble something in a week.
And HAH. I just figured out how to stick a header at the top of the page in WP that also changes the page numbers for me. SCORE. Because sticking that "Title / Author / Page number" thing at the top of every page, manually? Sucks, dude.
