Vacation planning...
Jun. 10th, 2007 12:12 pmThe Hubby has a week off in July (which he can probably purvey into two), and the airplane is back in business (FINALLY), so we're planning on heading to the US version of the Great Northwest.
Dude, I had no idea that there was so much to do in the SeaTac area. Well, scratch that, I did, but I just discovered that there's also a wild animal park within 35 miles of Tacoma, which looks pretty cool.
So, there's the Woodland Park Zoo, the Port Defiance Zoo, NW Trek, the Needle and shopping downtown, the Boeing Museum, whale watching...yeah, SeaTac is a week all by itself. We also wanted to swing through Winston and Portland first (Wildlife Safari and Oregon Zoo respectively), and then end up in Kalispell, MT, and Glacier National Park for some R&R for a few days before coming home.
Poor Hubby is going to be zoo-ed out by the time we get back. And I'm thinking I should invest in a bigger media thing for my camera. Rechargable batteries FTW.
ETA: More linkage:
Argosy Harbor Tours
Pacific Science Center
Seattle Aquarium
