So, am I the only female on the planet that absolutely hates clothes shopping with the fire of a billion suns? Tore my very last pair of jeans that I actually fit into today, right across the seat, and since we needed to go to Wally World anyway for a cat litter scoop and an adorable little USB expander (on sale for $7.50, which brings my USB capacity up to four from one and means I don't have to unplug my mouse when I want to use my JumpDrive), we poked around the jeans racks as well.
Hey, you guys at Jordache? What the frell is up your sizes, man? Every other brand, I can easily fit in a size eight. Yours? Size fourteen...and they looked horrid. *sticks tongue out* I mean, I realize I bitch about my weight a lot, and I'm sure it seems silly to the rest of you on my flist (especially those of you who have met me), but really, this seemed excessive.
And now I have two glowy gadgets. My mouse lights up, and this USB expandy thing has a pretty red light on the top of it too. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. Of course, half the reason I hate shopping for clothes is that it means money spent on that instead of more interesting things, like books, widgets, and cat toys.
We got a new catnip toy for the kitties too. Gray Kittie is quite taken with it; haven't given it to White Kittie yet. They're so cute...
On the fic front, the CYA ficathon fic is continuing apace; I just wrote some ouch-inducing dialogue which sums the whole situation up nicely from Fred's viewpoint, I think. *evil grin*
