Movie day!

Yeah, I ditched the Hubby and Da Boy this afternoon and hit the matinee and saw "Constantine." What a pleasant surprise, although in retrospect, I guess it shouldn't have been.

Am I going to buy it? I'm not sure, really. We don't have "Devil's Advocate," which is another Keanu vehicle which got more right than it got wrong, and we loved that movie as well. So, I don't know. But "Constantine" was quite good, and I'm very glad I went.

Yeah, I'm a sick puppy...

Because I'm laughing my butt off over Trolli Roadkill Candy...and I'm a bit miffed that the company gave in to the animal rights wackos and is yanking it from the shelves. Dudes, it's candy. No kid is going to "abuse an animal" because this company is selling gummy critters with tire tracks across them, unless that kid already has problems. *eyeroll* Really. Don't the people at the NJSPCA have better things to do? Like, hunting down people that actually, you know, abuse animals, instead of selling candy that's, frankly, funny and harmless?

Next thing you know, they'll be telling us that Goldfish and Gummi Worms encourage kids to eat actual goldfish and worms, live.
