To wish everyone a

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

HTML coding for the above shamelessly stolen from [livejournal.com profile] zilly14, and enlarged. Because I'm lazy that way.

Got the last of the prezzies wrapped and under the tree around 1:30am. Hubby will be home this afternoon, and I'll make our favorite Wif Burritos (which is, yeah, non-traditional, but ever so YUM). Then we'll watch "It's a Wonderful Life," "Muppet Christmas Carol," and "A Christmas Story." There's a football game on today as well, but don't know that we'll watch it, since I don't care about the teams playing and Hubby doesn't care for football; we might just do the movies and call it good.

Right now I'm working on a Spike/Illyria Christmas fic. Not sure when it'll get posted, because right now it's leaning toward angst, and I'd rather have happy fluffy bunnies...but if I set it before NFA, then the timeline is all screwed up, and if I set it after, then we have angst. So I'll probably do it both ways and see which one I like better.

Hope this holiday finds you and yours happy and healthy. :-) Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone!

Boy:
Wooden train set, Thomas-compatible but much cheaper, to go with the one he got a couple of years ago and that he's constantly playing with. Also, the Alpha-Zoo Express Frog engine and four cars--rhino, lion, snake, and elephant.

Some books.

A bunch of Chevron cars.

A couple of Matchbox cars.

A construction front-end loader thingy. (pardon my technical terms, there.)

A Nerf basketball hoop for his bedroom door.

A plush monkey.

Puzzles.

Hubby:
Socks and underwear. But only because he asked for them.

Gummy worms. Kind of a running joke having to do with the soil in Utah and the fact that we have no worms.

Peanut M&Ms. They ran out of mint ones. *sob*

Flavored coffee creamers. Six different ones.

Spiderman2 DVD.

A vise table, completely adjustable, with all kinds of neato features.

Me:
A beautiful cross necklace.

Mint Hershey's Kisses. Le YUM.

A Oaxacan Saber-Tooth Tiger. Gorgeous.

Lord of the Rings. Extended versions. All three. My Preciousssssss... Hubby had to go to three different stores to get them. And then the poor guy found them in a slipcase all together as a set. Before you ask, yes, there's an order form for the slipcase for all three in the last one, and it's on its way.

So. Who's up for a LotR marathon?
