Boy:
Wooden train set, Thomas-compatible but much cheaper, to go with the one he got a couple of years ago and that he's constantly playing with. Also, the Alpha-Zoo Express Frog engine and four cars--rhino, lion, snake, and elephant.
Some books.
A bunch of Chevron cars.
A couple of Matchbox cars.
A construction front-end loader thingy. (pardon my technical terms, there.)
A Nerf basketball hoop for his bedroom door.
A plush monkey.
Puzzles.
Hubby:
Socks and underwear. But only because he asked for them.
Gummy worms. Kind of a running joke having to do with the soil in Utah and the fact that we have no worms.
Peanut M&Ms. They ran out of mint ones. *sob*
Flavored coffee creamers. Six different ones.
Spiderman2 DVD.
A vise table, completely adjustable, with all kinds of neato features.
Me:
A beautiful cross necklace.
Mint Hershey's Kisses. Le YUM.
A Oaxacan Saber-Tooth Tiger. Gorgeous.
Lord of the Rings. Extended versions. All three. My Preciousssssss... Hubby had to go to three different stores to get them. And then the poor guy found them in a slipcase all together as a set. Before you ask, yes, there's an order form for the slipcase for all three in the last one, and it's on its way.
So. Who's up for a LotR marathon?

I have the first two extended editions, but not RotK yet. I have to save my pennies for a bit for that one. I can't wait to see it. I have my quibbles with the LotR movies, just as I have my quibbles with the HP movies, but they are still very enjoyable. The extended versions make a lot more sense plot- and character-wise than the original theatrical films, IMNSHO.
