Jan. 2nd, 2004 09:34 pmMiss H at OBAFU gave us a challenge: Write a story about a character you don't like, that doesn't bash them. The only character I have a real hate on for in the Buffyverse (aside from the obvious villains) is Kennedy--and I don't have a *thing* to say about that little bint.
However...I've been unhappy with Buffy ever since season 5 or so. She's been mean to my Spike. And, while he may not be entirely blameless in the entire situation, she didn't have to be *that* vicious, that often. Had she cut him just a little slack, I might not be as angry with her as I was--but she didn't.
So. This is the result. Read it, review it, give me a happy.

Thank you!
Date: 2004-01-04 01:42 am (UTC)It just seems to me that a Champion (which is what Buffy is supposed to be) should act like one. And part of "acting like one" is offering forgiveness when it's...maybe not deserved, but....needed? Not sure that's the right word or not. Maybe what I'm trying to say is that a Champion should be bigger than their circumstances, or should at least come out on the other side a better person.
