An icon and a drabble...

And then I wrote a drabble in honor of it. My first "House" drabble. *pets it*

Notes: Wilson reflects after the events of "Babies and Bathwater."
The irresistible force met the immovable object, and the resulting explosion left walking wounded throughout the hospital. Greg has a strong antipathy toward change, and Vogler wanted people to say “Sir, yes, sir, how high, sir?” when he said “Jump.” And Greg was just as determined to keep his gimpy damn leg flat on the floor. A battle of bullies.
Who knows if Cameron will come back...if Lisa will want to go to the mat for him again? Our friendship will survive, because, God help me, it’s all I have left. He must realize what it cost, though.

Date: 2005-04-25 03:59 pm (UTC)Yeah, I have the same problem with "House" that I do with "Lost." There's not enough there for me to write full-blown fic, even though I've seen every episode of both shows. Plus the fact that I'm not shipping anyone in either show (with the possible exception of Charlie and Claire).
And I don't think I could get the medicine right (not that the show makes an effort, but still), and the level of sarcastic riposte on "House" is way beyond Spike and Angel calling each other "odious simpleton" and "pompous pillock." So, I'll be limiting myself to little reflective pieces for now.
"Lost" is coming out on DVD on Sept 6; hopefully "House" will follow it soon thereafter. *crosses fingers*
