Let me count the ways that"Lost" is luscious...

Michael and Hurley laughing at Sawyer trying to pick the lock on the suitcase. Especially Hurley. I wubs him.

Jack threatening to withhold Sawyer's antibiotics. Man, that's just cold.

Now Sun knows there's something up with Kate.

Kate the Bank Robber. My, she's a good actress. Wonder if she was telling the truth about killing the man she loved, and if that's really his little DC-3...and why she'd want it if she killed him. I mean, ew.

Rose praying for Charlie. *sniffle* That was really nice. I like her. Be interesting to see if The Island gives her Hubby back to her.

Kate and Sawyer swimming in the Lagoon of Dead Bodies. Again, I say, ew. If that were me, I'd have gotten out and NOT gone back in. Unless I *really* needed a toy airplane...

Anyone else think that The Island wants them off the beach, and that's why the tide's coming in?

"Beyond the Sea," for the youngsters on my flist, did not originate with "Finding Nemo." Bobby Darin recorded it in 1960. Therefore, it's probably an old standard that Danielle would know.

Kate/Sawyer snark. That was fun. Her head-butting him? Even funner. "What, you smell blood on the wind?" Bwah!

Sayid and Shannon. Aw. She seemed really hurt that Boone, God's Friggin' Gift to Humanity, called her "useless." I immediately thought of her when Sayid said that the notations on the map were in French.

Yay! We got to see Vincent again! And he's clumsy! *pets him*

Sawyer tossing the suitcase around like the gorilla in the Samsonite commercial all those years ago. That was just funny. Wonder if JJ remembers those too...

Wow. They crammed a lot into this episode.

I think we may see Charlie come back to his faith before this is all over. It was quite refreshing to see religion treated with a modicum of respect for once. *resists urge to go off on a rant about Hollyweird's treatment of religion, specifically any kind of Christianity*

On the TWoP boards, there is a certain split; those people who are bugged because it was the black woman turned out to be a "Jesus freak" (their words, not mine) and those who think it perfectly acceptable. I think Hollywood treads a fine line with religion and Lost is good at not crossing it - they didn't make Rose into a "magical black person," but I think they are sort of setting her up to be Locke's counterpart.

*snorts* There are people who would be offended that there are any Jesus freaks on the show...especially if they were portrayed as basically normal people whose faith just plays a little bigger part of their outlook on life than other people. Some of us really don't foam at the mouth...
