Arrant Nonsense

I made my traditional Wif Burritos, of which you may have heard.

Only, instead of using ground beef, I used ground bison instead.

AND IT WAS ZOMG SO VERY VERY GOOD.

Now, at five bucks a pound, it wasn't cheap, but it was damned tasty nevertheless.

And why did I end up with ground bison rather than ground beef?

Well, therein lies a story.

I expect my local grocery store to have a better selection of meat than I get at freaking Walmart. Right? Is this logical, especially considering that it's, you know, a dedicated grocery store? I normally buy 96% lean ground beef, and Wally World is blessed with an abundance of the stuff in various poundage selections.

I stopped at the grocery store to get my burrito supplies because it was on the way and Walmart, well, wasn't, like, at all. And all the grocery store had was 80% and 85% lean ground beef. Which had me going "eugh." And then I saw the bison.

Which had me gong "Hm. Intriguing. I'll try that."

So. Anyway. I did. And it was GOOD.

And I really need to get some writing done today. Badly.
