Yes. I've committed "True Blood" Sam Merlotte wallpaper again. The second one under the cut is on my desktop right now.

Two behind the cut. You no can has previews, because they might be considered spoilery. Hell, I dunno. The ep aired in November, I have no idea what the overseas schedule is like, but the first book has been out since 2001...

I even have an appropriate icon for this post that I'm not using because I'm such a spoilerphobe myself. Oh, wait--TWO. One of which isn't even fandom-related.

So. ( Two 1024x600 wallpapers that might be considered spoilery if you haven't either read the first book in the Sookie Stackhouse series or seen S1E9 OR figured it out for yourself. )

And I have no life.

I should be writing. And...I am. Sort of. More, reading through and seeing where I'm at than actual words on the screen, but I'm getting there.

But in between that, I'm making Sam Merlotte wallpaper. And another icon.

I finally found out which ep the Big Reveal for Sam comes in. I can't believe they waited that long. Omigawd. Now, the question is...should I use the semi-spoilery icon or not? S2 has started, but, hell, I haven't even seen S1E9 yet. Just how much of a secret is this thing?

I shamelessly stole the graphic for the wallpaper from this site (yes, it's in Polish, Google Image Search is my very good friend) and then resized it and messed around with it until it actually looked good as wallpaper.

So. I've been watching "True Blood." Being as it's a vampire series based on a book series I happen to like quite a bit, I thought I'd check it out.

First of all, there's not a guy on this show who isn't Smoking Hawt. Oh my lord, where did they dig these guys up from, seriously?

That being said.

I'm pretty sure that the characters I'm supposed to be glomming onto are Sookie and Bill, right?

But this is me. My favorite character in BtVS was Spike. Angel didn't make my top three favorites in his own show. I'm fair certain that Chuck is supposed to be my favorite, not Casey. Ditto: Mal, not Jayne, in Firefly. (Granted, it may be the Adam Baldwin Factor in those two. Just sayin'. Shallow agilebrit is shallow. Sue me.) Jane, not Cho, on The Mentalist. Charlie and Don, not Colby and David in Numb3rs.

Shall I go on? Give me a show with interesting and engaging major characters, and I latch onto the secondary ones like a leech. And so who am I glomming onto for True Blood?

Sam and Tara.

NOT ONLY THAT.

But it's entirely possible that Sam Trammell, who plays Sam in True Blood, may have replaced RDJ in my head as the guy who plays Ben. Because, damn, look at that face.

Now. I'm only up to S1E6. I have no idea how long it'll be before they do the Big Reveal ( Big ol' spoiler that's probably not actually one but I'm sticking it behind the cut just in case, along with an icon. )
