Um. Ew. But still...hee. XD Is that truly an OTP of anyone? True, though, the screencap is just great. I love Hurley. They didn't show enough of Sawyer for me to get a real impression of him, except that he was pretty cool with his whole setup thingie on the beach. And his long hair. *grin*
Well, Sawyer is the most hated man on the Island right now. He went through the plane and basically looted it after the crash, and now he's kind of hoarding stuff. He gives it up pretty easily when they approach him like a human being (the way Hurley did the other night), but he got tortured a couple of weeks ago because everyone ASSumed he had Shannon's inhalers and got rather snotty when he wouldn't hand them over. He didn't have them.
The guy also has some serious self-loathing issues, and I think he wants to die. He faced down a polar bear with a handgun, and tried to goad Jack into letting him bleed out after Sayid managed to sever an artery in his arm. His mother had an affair with a con artist when he was nine or so, and lost all their money, and his dad killed her and then turned the gun on himself, leaving Sawyer an orphan. And now he's a con artist himself, having come full circle and turned into the man he hated.
Yeah, Sawyer's the kind of guy I'd run far, far away from if I met him in real life, but as a fictional character I just want to pet him and make it all better. Me = sap.
