"You're lucky to be alive," Freckles had said.

Was I? I was never gonna find Sawyer. We were stuck on this damn island for good. I'd driven everyone away, including her. Was for the best. I liked Kate; she deserved better than the thing that I'd become. Saint Jack would be a more fittin' partner for her. I hadn't been able to goad him into letting me just die right there, oh no, not him. That sanctimonious son of a bitch.

Yeah, that knife wound was going to leave a mark. Wasn't nothin' compared to the scar on my soul.

Next week I think we're going to get more into what The Island is all about. Sayid has gone walkabout, and he apparently gets captured by...something.

Ah, Sawyer.... He's so wounded. He's an ass, and I know I wouldn't be giving him such a pass if he didn't have dimples you can plant potatoes in, but dangit. Will be interesting to see if Kate lets him drive her away. That kiss? Was teh hott. *fans self* And I like her much better with Sawyer than I do with Jack.

*sigh* He's the kind of guy I'd never touch with a ten-foot pole in real life, but in fantasy, he's the kind I just want to cuddle and make it all better. He's so damaged.
