Ugh. Right there with you on FedEx. And, in fact, they don't even come to my front door here. The first package I got from them after I moved in they quite literally backed the truck up in my driveway, opened the back door and shoved the package out, tossed a smaller one down next to it and drove away. Leaving the boxes IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DRIVEWAY. I filed a complaint and now they toss them in the carport... which pretty much means that I've got to check there all the time because I don't ever use the carport.

And half the time, the PO and UPS aren't any better. It's like they have some allergy to actually touching the door, or the doorbell. Are there door cooties I don't know about?
