*sigh* I know he's a jerk. But he's pretty. I'm shallow, sue me. If you want it, just comment and credit. I got the screencap from...erm...some "Lost" site or other. I think the main one, but I'm not sure. Might have been Josh Holloway's site.

Started my NaNoWriMo story today. And am incredibly annoyed at the fact that XBox has a Mafia game, which made it extremely difficult to find out what kind of cars mobsters drove in the 30's. I've got a whole 200 words. Whee. *headdesk* Why on earth did I think I'd be able to do this? And why on earth am I starting this with a fight scene? I always agonize over them, and that makes them take way longer for me to write.

Too much TV this week. Football tonight, election returns tomorrow, Lost and CSI:NY Wed. Anyone besides me going to be up all night tomorrow throwing popcorn at the TV? I'm sure I'm not the only one around here who obsesses about politics. LOL

Speaking of TV, I watched "The Mountain" last night under the mistaken impression that James Marsters was going to be on it. I'm glad he's getting work, but does it have to be on a show that sucks that much?

Okay. Nose to the grindstone. Must write.

ETA: Found the pic. It's here.

Apparently his appearance is scheduled for November 21 now.
I'm still vaguely ill at the idea of actually watching The Mountain, but I shall support my Buffy/Angel alumns come hell or high water...::grits teeth::

Good luck with the novel...at one Writerscon panel several writers admitted to writing out of order, writing the big scenes then connecting them...just a thought if a fight scene slows you down before you build momentum!

Just a thought!

Yeah, I've never tried writing un-linearly (if that's a word). I tend to write by the seat of my pants, and so I have to do it pretty much in order. I'm doing it kind of experimentally (for me), with flashbacks for a character that tell a separate story that will eventually dovetail with the main story.

Argh. ikfxchglhdfl <-- that's my head repeatedly hitting the keyboard.

Argh. I may be constitutionally unable to stop myself editing this thing as I go along. 900 words and counting. *sob*
