Because, you know, they're going to inflict it on us no matter what the userbase says, because Customer Service is apparently still a foreign concept in Russia or something.

And it's not as bad as before, but it's still pretty terrible. I got the subject line to a tolerable color and managed to at least darken the background, but the entries themselves are horrible. White space, white space, everywhere, and why does anyone think that's attractive? I much prefer reading my friends' entries the way I'm doing it now, and not stretched all the way across the damn page.

Ugh, ugh, and more ugh. Why, LJ. Why u do dis.

I don't know why this style of graphic design has become so popular...I've noticed the same changes across many websites. :/ It's ugly and cheap looking, IMO.

It's a fad. Wait a few months and another will come along. In the meantime, we'll be stuck with this for years because LJ won't get their heads out of their butts.

Or, rather, anyone left here will be stuck with it, because the rest of us will have migrated over to DW by then.

They did it with the new posting format. The new "friends feed" (seriously???) won't be far behind.

The other thing I hate about it is that my sidebar with all those useful links is gone with the new style. Thanks a lot, LJ.
