Yeah, retweets won't let you add a hashtag or anything else. You'd have to copy and paste the tweet with an RT in front of it -- or rather, an MT, which is what you're supposed to use when you alter another tweet in any way. Then you can add your hashtag or whatever you want. Kind of a pain, but it's the only way I know how to do it.
