Okay, it occurs to me that if Protag doesn't remember what he does when he's wolfed, then how the hell does he know he's a werewolf? I think I may have a sort of workaround for that (he sees his hands transforming and then blacks out, or something).
It also occurs to me that I really need an entire flashback scene where he explains this to the woman he's courting so the rest of us get the backstory as well. The backstory is going to tie into the rest of it, and so knowing what happened and why he's cursed (or, at least, so we know what he knows; it's in first person because that's how I roll for something like this) is important.
I just complicated my life. Again.
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

Date: 2012-10-20 11:57 pm (UTC)1) What if when he first started to change to a werewolf, he'd remember, say the first half hour to hour, until the mind of the wolf subdued the 'human' awareness.
2) What if something traumatic happened that led to his lack of memory, whereas before the incident he'd remember everything that happened to him. So after the incident he'd start to change, then black out, and wake up later just knowing he'd changed and nothing else?
