My parents were supposed to come here for a visit, but events conspired that they are stuck in Grand Junction for the foreseeable future. Best laid plans and all. However, that's an easy drive or flight for us, and so we're heading over there for a couple of days, anyway, before the Hubby has to go back to work on Wednesday. Taking off early tomorrow, either in the Cessna or the PT Cruiser.

In other news, the 280 words I penned last night don't look half-bad in the cold light of sobriety, and I've thought of the Next Thing to complicate my poor protag's life. Mine is an evil laugh.

The fun around here just never stops...

That's cool that you have your own plane!

It expands where we can go quite a bit, and we figure it's really not any more expensive than the upkeep on a deluxe motor home, with the added bonus that it's faster. It's very nice to have the extra option. :)

oh yeah! And it's much more maneuverable than a mobile home. Which one of you has the pilot's license?

The Hubby is the pilot; in fact, he does it for a living.

Quite a busman's holiday then! My hubby is an IT guy by profession and plays computer games for fun.
