Maybe I could get on the internet if I installed the driver for the wireless card. Which I am now in the process of yoinking off Averatec's website onto a thumb drive. And, perhaps, I should download all the drivers I need and put them on a handy CD so I'll have it when this happens again--as it inevitably will.

Sometimes I'm as dense as a neutron star, I swear.

Sorry for spamming your flist, guys. It will all be over soon, one way or the other. Either I'll get the thing working properly or I'll smash it against a wall.
