Honey, you are the strongest, stubborn, masochistic writers that I know, and it may sound like a bad thing, but if you put all three together, you CAN RULE THE WRITING. You have the STRENGTH to keep going even when the page is drawing a blank. You have the STUBBORNNESS to keep going even when you think it's missing something or will have something fixed five minutes later. You have the MASOCHISM to entertain all these ideas at once and turn your brain into another acre of Schizophrenia.

Well, it's not just Ben. I need to write the parts where Janni is searching frantically for him and doing terrible things in the process. I've got a character in Chains who keeps randomly switching bodies with a dragon. And I've got a Dad whose daughter has just been zombied.
All three of them are original fiction. The zombie story is supposed to be my next WotF entry, if I can finish it. And if they don't like it, there's plenty of other fantasy/SF/horror markets out there to be tapped.
Chains is an Epic Fantasy. Just because I stole my first line from a line of dialogue from "Lost" doesn't mean it's not original. ;) Besides, that line hasn't even survived. If I can finish it, and it doesn't SUCK, I can submit it.
The new!Ben&Janni story is a sequel to the first novel, which is out on submission right now. So, if I can sell the first one, chances are they'll take the second one as well, although it's quite a bit darker and doesn't bring the funny as hard as the first one. Needs more Alex, yes it does...
