YES PLEASE GIVE ME MORE OF THAT.

IT WAS ALL... WITH THE THING... AND THAT OTHER THING...

*physically pulls myself back together*

Okay, I've kept my fears about this movie to myself for a fair while. I was afraid it would suffer from too-many-villains-itis, that they wouldn't be able to match the first one, that the magic would be gone, that they'd play it safe with the plot because Disney bought Marvel...

All my fears were laid to rest. Is it perfect? No, but show me a movie that is. This is, without a doubt, the best movie-going experience I've had since "Sherlock Holmes." And, yes, I'm saying that having seen "How to Train Your Dragon" and loving it.

WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANT.

O.O DISNEY BOUGHT MARVEL!?

Okay, shock of THAT aside, \o/

I want to see it again, too! *.* there was the stupid/background villain and the really scarier-than-he-looks-which-is-scary-enough villain, so I don't think it had too many villains. I think the combination of both was just right.

Plus, the dynamics were still there, the suit still made me get flustered (I need to marry a mechanic or something, anyone techy), and I loved every second *sigh* DVD. Wants.

Hammer: I call it the Ex-Wife.

*later* (Rhodey fires the Ex-Wife, which fizzles sadly)

Tony: Hammer tech?

I hope Rhodey lets Tony look at the War Machine, because, um. Hammer tech.

GOD I loved the fight sequences. Michael Bay needs to take notes.

Yeah, the Hammer tech was BAD. I laughed so hard when it fizzled. He made such a show out of it, too.

*SNORT* Michael Bay just likes to blow up things and make a mess out of sets. I mean, he does it well (the sounds of thing going kaboom make me smile... I have issues), but it's not really action as it is just, BOOM!

Now J.J. Abrams is my hero. All he did to make me fall for him is the Star Trek scene where a part of the ship goes kaboom and people start being sucked into space. The moment where you can here the screaming and then, nothing, nada, silence, reminded me of my Physics class when the teacher said there's no sound in space *.* So cool.

But Jon Favreau has a great way of telling the story as he shows it and yes, he's so very good with action sequences, he really is (who would've thought the guy I saw in the movie, 'Love and Sex', would've been THE guy to direct Iron Man? SO. AWESOME.)

"O.O DISNEY BOUGHT MARVEL!?"

Maybe the Mouse will force Stan Lee to resurrect Captain America. I vowed never to buy a Marvel title again until Steve Rogers is alive.

OMG HIS HAIR IN THIS. /shallow fangirl moment

And the part where he's dying and can't tell Pepper because she's being impatient and dismissive because he's being an irresponsible ass because he's dying and gaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

This one was all about Bad Communication and how we hurt the people we love because of it.

So... I'm wondering how many times will IM2 be seen before it hits the 2-disc Special Edition DVD/Blu-Ray trail? :)

At the rate things are going, I may not see IM2 until Memorial Day weekend.

Seen by me? At least as many as Sherlock Holmes, which was six.

Memorial Day weekend? I would die. It was bad enough waiting until today.

I have to travel a good distance to the multiplex since the movie theater which used to be in my neighborhood shut down some time ago.

The nearest movie theater is around 10 miles away, and after checking their schedules for IM2 (it's showing in two auditoriums), they're pretty much sold out for this coming weekend, and next weekend looks iffy.

I'm hoping to see IM2 on Memorial Day weekend, but with the kids out of school, I'm not exactly thrilled about being in a movie theater with the Middle School Mafia on a holiday weekend (had to endure them when I went to that sparkly vampire movie...).

This was great!! They recast Rhodey! waaah!

Well, they re-cast Rhodey because Howard wanted too much money. They signed him first for IM1 and apparently paid him more than anyone else, including RDJ.

Cheadle was an improvement, IMO.

BRING ON THOR OMG.

While I was watching it I had the thought, "Tony is even more like Alex now than he was in the first movie." :) Plus, we got so much more Pepper!

Iron Man! Vikings and Dragons! Sherlock!

*makes warding signs at "Breaking Dawn"* Eugh to SMeyer. The only time vampires should sparkle is when they're on FIRE.

*eyes rest of list* Okay, is there anything coming out that's not a sequel to something--and that's actually cool and stars an actor I actually like? Hollyweird is getting a bad case of franchise-itis these days. I realize that sequels sell (guilty!--I will see RDJ and Hugh Jackman in anything), but jeepers.
