I have scribbled over a thousand words today in the Zombie!Fic and I'm thinking it might actually come in at less than 5K. Which makes me happy, because I'm sick and damn tired of plot monsters that eat my brain (pun certainly intended). It's sitting at about 2300 right now.

But the next section will require much thought before I snap my main character like a rotten rubber band.

Hee, thank you. I hope this one doesn't fizzle like the ghost ship story did. Fortunately, my Writing Buddy is a darkfic and zombie expert, so I at least have someone to run it by before I send it out...

Maybe your ghost ship story will come back to you later. I find ghost ships fascinating.
