"Changes" OMG

Jim Butcher has the ability to rip my heart out, stick it in a blender, hit "shred," dump it on the ground, and stomp on the bitty shards. And he doesn't even have to kill a character to do it.

I had that same problem. =)

I did put mine down long enough to watch Mike Modano's (potentially) last home game - the last several minutes of it anyway - but picked it up again and read until I was done - at 2am.

Worth it though. Oh man, this book....

Thomas is a wonderful character.

Me? I don't 'ship. XD But, I do love exploring relationships between characters... my current Dresden exploration is Carlos/Harry. =) There needs to be more Carlos. XD

Perhaps "ship" is the wrong word. But I'd definitely like to see where that goes. Wouldn't Molly's parents have a collective heart attack...

I have Backup, yes, and LOVE IT SO MUCH. Jim really needs to write more stuff from Thomas's POV. Not nearly enough of him in this, at all.

Oh- I just don't 'ship b/c there always seems to be far too much disappointment when I do - b/c the writers will never write the 'ship the way you think it should go. So I just don't hook my reading/viewing enjoyment to a relationship. It's just a 'me' thing. XD

But yeah, that soulgaze - wow!

"Backup" is love! And I think there should be a story from the POV of all of the major 2ndary characters. Could you imagine a story from Bob's POV? XD
