The Redbox is just about the Best Thing Ever and I'm totally sold on it. A buck a night for a video rental, and free for the first night if you grab a code? I have no idea how they're making their money (well, actually, I have a very good idea--from absent-minded and/or busy people who fail to bring the movie back after the first night), but this is AWESOME.
Why, yes, we're going to watch "Men Who Stare at Goats" tonight after Lost's Richard ep.
BTW, Lost? OMG RICHARD OMG I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH.

Date: 2010-03-23 11:15 pm (UTC)I'd love to get a blu-ray player, but that would entail buying a whole new home theater system to get the surround sound, which is ridiculous. And yes, I'm grumpy about that.

Date: 2010-03-23 11:18 pm (UTC)Don't blame ya! I looked at buying a new home theater system but didn't because 1) I'm too cheap 2) A Blu-Ray player + big honkin' plasma = enough surround sound.

Date: 2010-03-23 11:27 pm (UTC)We already have a surround system with the old DVD player. Why they haven't designed a Blu-ray that will line IN to the old DVD player (which is also my stereo system) is beyond me. Pooheads.
