The Redbox is just about the Best Thing Ever and I'm totally sold on it. A buck a night for a video rental, and free for the first night if you grab a code? I have no idea how they're making their money (well, actually, I have a very good idea--from absent-minded and/or busy people who fail to bring the movie back after the first night), but this is AWESOME.

Why, yes, we're going to watch "Men Who Stare at Goats" tonight after Lost's Richard ep.

BTW, Lost? OMG RICHARD OMG I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH.

Lots of folks I know LOVE Redbox! One of these days I'll go for it but right now I'm a Blu-Ray 'tart'. It'd be great for picking up movies I'm not sure I want to own on Blu-Ray.

It's a buck, or free with the code. We've paid for ONE movie because I didn't grab a code one day before we left.

I'd love to get a blu-ray player, but that would entail buying a whole new home theater system to get the surround sound, which is ridiculous. And yes, I'm grumpy about that.

I am *such* a coupon slut so I need to get me some of these codes. :-)

Don't blame ya! I looked at buying a new home theater system but didn't because 1) I'm too cheap 2) A Blu-Ray player + big honkin' plasma = enough surround sound.

Redbox codes. :)

We already have a surround system with the old DVD player. Why they haven't designed a Blu-ray that will line IN to the old DVD player (which is also my stereo system) is beyond me. Pooheads.

I have netflix and I enjoy it. Sadly with my wacky schedule I haven't been able to utilize it as much as I should but I still love it.

I'm not sold on Netflix because we just don't rent that many movies--four out of five times we'll see it in the theater. But every once in awhile we miss one (we missed Inglourious Basterds somehow...), especially in the winter when the drive-in is closed (or if it's rated above PG and we couldn't get a sitter), and that's when the Redbox saves us. It's just a cheaper option, for us, and we're all about cheap. ;)

I do the $9 a month 1 DVD at a time option because of the instant (streaming) shows and movie they have online. I wear that baby out LOL. So for me it's worth it just for that. (Also i have 8 people in my family so they can stream movies too without them having to ask me to rent them a movie.)

Yeah, that just wouldn't work for us; we don't rent nearly that many movies in a month and our DSL doesn't stream at all well. A buck a whack once a week is more our line. :)

Regarding Lost... I didn't realize the whole episode would be JUST a flashback, pretty much... but I loved it! Loved getting at least a few answers (like why the only part of the statue left was the foot) and learning more about Richard as well as Jacob vs. El Diablo/Not-Locke. Poor Richard though... what a lot of unfortunate crap to happen to him. BTW, I love Hurley's new role as mediator between the dead and the living. His translations too: "She says your English is awesome." Haha.

I can't believe the series is ending but it'll be interesting to see how they wrap everything up.
