If Paul Hamm wasn't such a youngster (and I wasn't an old married lady), I'd be offering to have his babies. As it is, I'm still drooling shamelessly. Dear Lord, I hope they offer a gymnastics DVD after this is all over. I'd be all over that.
The closest finish in Olympic gymnastics history. He won the Gold by twelve thousandths of a point.
And yay for the Women's Swim team for the 800m Relay, breaking a World Record, that's stood for 17 years, in the process of winning the Gold.
I like sports. It's something that, as a spectator, you can invest total passion in, with no consequences. Nothing else in life is like that. There are certain sports I don't get (baseball and golf, which I find unbelievably tedious), but dang if I wouldn't watch sports all the freaking time if I had cable.
