I really wanted to get a story in before the 30th, but I think I'm going to just have to shoot for next quarter. Sigh.

Yep. I've done stuff under a tight deadline before (and "Fortunes of Soldiers" came out of that one, so, yay), but I really don't like doing it. This is another adventure for my spaceship crew. Someday I'll have enough of them to make their own anthology.
