Both of my characters are wrecked right now, and neither one of them is talking to me.

This would not be a problem, if any of my other myriad characters were talking to me.

BUT NONE OF THEM ARE.



Anyone got a bridge handy I can throw this thing off of? May I follow it down?

*innocent look* Moi? I mean, Ben kicks ass and takes names in the scene following this one, and he knows I'm not going to leave him wrecked because I really do lurve him...

I need to give him a funny adventure when this is done. A comedy of errors sort of thing.

The problem in the short story is the transition, and I think I've got it now. Today should be a better writing day.
