I haz more of an end game than I did previously.

It's basically what I had noodling around in my head anyway, but he gave me solid reasons for leaving Ben vamped and gave me a little coda (which I may or may not use, because it skates Wall of Wrong territory and I'm not sure I want to go there without making things much more plain than, perhaps, I should).

So. *cracks knuckles* Now all I have to do is write it.

And then I get to write all the little in-between scenes that are sorely missing from this thing.

In the meantime, I also need to figure out a Plot for the Graveyard Story. One which is, if not silly, at least funny. Because I've been wallowing in "dark and depressing" for too damn long and I want to write something light in tone. I never thought I'd ever say this, but--I'm almighty tired of smacking the snot out of a character who doesn't deserve it.

Why don't you write a romance or a farce?

I would love to write a farce. I can bring The Funny, I've done it before. Romance... eh, not so much. I've pulled that off once, really, and that was without actually intending to. I'm afraid my romance bone is well and truly broken.

But I still need Plot. Also, Characters.

And I need to finish it by the 29th. Under five thousand words would be a bonus.

...is that a Plot Bunny I see, hopping through the bushes? How much genre-bending can I do...
