I made Janni cry today. Mwahaha.

In fairness to Ben, he just woke up from this, and thinks he's hallucinating, that it's not really her. So he said something that he'd never ever have said, had he been in his right mind.

Which doesn't exactly mitigate the hurt.

Also, he blacked Alex's eye. Um.

I still need to figure out how long this particular psychotic break should go on.

Should research that, I suppose, so I can at least give a nod to actual psychology.

I wonder if werewolf healing™ can also encompass someone's mental well-being...

You're such a meanie. *giggle, snort* Did you copywrite werewolf healing? There's a little TM by it. Just wondering.

No, no, I trademarked it. Whole other animal. LOL

But, seriously, I have no idea how long this thing should go on or how to snap him out of it--if that's even possible. Especially without the drugs that he would refuse to take in any case.

maybe if he goes to sleep/unconscious, wakes up several times to the same thing, he gradually accepts that it's reality?

I'd like to have something snap him out of it, but I don't even know if that's sound, psychologically. Even the treatments for "brief reactive psychosis" (which is what this has all the earmarks of) include drugs and intensive therapy. Ben won't take drugs and they're not equipped to give him therapy. That being said, the interwebs says that a brief episode might be over with in as little as a day, so I guess I've got room to work.

Of course, part of his problem is that his senses are still being interfered with by the wolfsbane, so once that wears off he might have a better chance.
