I'm sorry, but Ben does not need to be having the same conversation with multiple people.

"Woe, I cheated on my wife with a vampire. I am a horrible person and should be shot."

"Dude, you were raped in vampire prison. Totally not your fault."

"Totally was. She lurrrrrrrrved me. And I sorta kinda liked her back." *thinks* I can never ever admit ever to actually loving her, because that would pile even more repercussions on my head. Augh. But I did. *more guilt*

"Vampire prison. Power differential. Did you see yourself when you woke up on the yacht?"

"Not her fault, she saved my life, lots of times. Besides, she's a vampire felon. I, on the other hand, should know better. She didn't force me. What was it when I was initiating things, huh, huh, huh???"

This is fine if he's having this conversation with one person. Maybe even two, because different aspects of the same experience can be talked about to different people. But having it more than once with Janni, and then again with Alex and Chambliss?

Of course, Megan is alpha. He could start in with the "oh woe is me" and she could pull a "Snap out of it. You're hurting Janni, stop it." "Yes, ma'am."
