So, today was spent incorporating new scenes with the new/old villain and the new plot. I've scribbled something like 2200 words, bringing me up over 43K.

And I'm fangirling Ben like mad. I probably shouldn't fangirl my own characters but damn if Ben doesn't bring it out in me. I wish it was Snippet Saturday so I could share, but I shall womanfully refrain.

I've also managed to get more of Ben's "don't frelling touch me" litany out there, so when he finally capitulates, it has that much more impact.

And now I've got 75 pages to read through to make sure the thing hangs together.

take heart in the fact that you are not the only one. I have a couple characters I fangirl a lot. I even write fanfiction to my own characters... Stuff that will never actually make it to the final cut and I know it...

Seriously, I have an alternate ending to this, wherein they actually have sex. Which is even more Wrong than what actually happens there. *headdesks* And I spent days on it.

Well, I usually start the day with some idea of the scene(s) I need to write next. Today, I drew an absolute blank. Which sucks, because I know there's more that needs to be shoehorned in between scenes, but it's not coming for me and is thus frustrating. And I don't like to go into Word Wars without at least a vague notion of what's next.
