Is it strange that, in the scenes from Angeline's POV, I want to use British spellings and have to make almost a conscious effort not to? Because it looks weird to have her headspace in American English.

In case anyone's wondering, I cracked 22,000 words this morning. I've written over 10,000 words this week. And the day's not over yet.
