Really good article and yay for you! A quote is sweet acknowledgment of your presence in the fanfic community, isn't it? I must say I have been enjoying reading your drabbles here; my thirst for more Buffy and Angelverse stories is ever-present. That said, I have read (or started to read) some real garbage. I appreciate good writing, and try to avoid the dreck. I admit I don't get slash at all. I have read some of it to try to figure out the attraction it holds, but I just don't get it. I prefer stories that stay within the canon of the series; I have nothing against gay relationships that are real relationships, I suppose I just have no interest in making characters gay who are not shown to be so on the shows. However, to each their own. If I don't like it, I just don't read it.
