For Borders today. So, after picking up my weekly comic haul from Night Flight, I hied across the street and poked through the Borders SF/F collection. I didn't see anything that pinged me there, and I wandered upstairs to the graphic novel collection.

I've been hearing noise about the Marvel Civil War. They had the Civil War: Iron Man trade, and with the coupon it was $8, so I said, yeah, that.

I have now finished it.

OW. OW OW OW, y'all. Just... OW. With a healthy dose of "Oh, god." Also "oh, Tony."

And now I realize I should probably get the rest of these, but I'm not sure I can handle this much frakking pain.

Because OW. I realize that Tony is the Poster Child for Manpain, but DAMN.

Dear God, I hope they never make movies out of these. Because I will have to go, and crying in public is embarrassing.

I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN. *cries*

But I will have to. Because I am a masochist. I think I'll pick up Road to Civil War next time I get paid. ARGH.

YESSSSSS. 'Road To' was one of my absolute faves. It solidified my support for the pro-reg side (and made me realize that the Illuminati were kind of bastards...then again look at the lineup: Strange AND Namor? COMEON). You might end up on Cap's side, idk!

what was that LJ extension you got for Firefox? I can't remember

Firefox LJ Addon.

I can pick up Road to Civil War for under $5, shipped, from ABE. It seems pathetic that I have to wait until I get paid again to blow five bucks on a graphic novel, but I've run out of discretionary funds for this pay period. Woe.
