Um, what?

Boy, that was some sucky writing, there. Right from the start of the episode. Usually, funerals occur within a week of death. So, Booth recovered from the gunshot wound from psycho chick quickly enough to get into a hand-to-hand fight with a bad guy at his funeral? That soon?

UM, NO.

And it just went downhill from there. The red herrings were more pinkish than red, and the Big Reveal came out of nowhere.

The only good thing about this ep was Booth in the bathtub, reading a Green Lantern comic and drinking beer from a beer helmet. David looks damn fine. *is shallow and also twelve*

Boy, howdy. That just sucked like a big sucking thing.

BAD season finale. NO BISCUIT.

Oh hell yeah. No fucking biscuit for them.

None of it made sense. I not always one to post to my journal about episode, I generally look and see who's talking about it and comment there. BUt that was utter shit. Thus the short post. Very OCC, and lots of potholes in the plot. Not just plotholes huge potholes of confusion. Plus I'm going to go back and check it but I'm 90% sure at the end of "The Knight on the Grid" is you slow it down you could see it was Sweets, though it's very quick, I guess it could have been Zach.. But like I said I'd have to go back and check it, and I'll do that either tonight or tomorrow...

Sucky McSucky of a finale...

Bathtub stuff was funny and adorable, but not exactly tracking with how Booth has been portrayed. Not that I minded seeing him practically naked!

Laters~

Horrible horrible horrible. I didn't want it to be Sweets, because I like him lots, but I'd have been a lot better off with it being him than Zack. This was seriously bad.

I've much rather had it be Sweets than Zach. I love Zacaroni! Sweet annoyed me to no end. But I think it was more how they had everything happen rather than who Gormagon ended up being, that disappointed me the most.

Just bad writing, totally phoned in. I could have written a better ep than that.

I think we should write a better episode than that.

Not that I could write anything great but I might just try.

The whole thing was surreal. I kept thinking that the reveal would be that it was a coma-dream of Booth's, which would have been bad enough, but that never happened either. THAT would have been better than THIS. This that you comment to [livejournal.com profile] bookishwench would have even been acceptable not the load of horse-shit that we got.

Gotta go for the night. Talk to ya tomorrow.

You know what? I'm betting the season opener next year will be Booth waking up in a hospital bed going "I just had the freakiest dream." The entire ep was just surreal. From him being healed enough to go to his own funeral and beat down a bad guy, to Bones walking in on him in the bathroom, to Hodgins giving Zack the pain meds, to the killer actually being Zack... BOOTH DIDN'T ORDER PIE. HE ALWAYS ORDERS PIE.

Yes. It was a dream. It was it was it was.

Considering I'm hearing rumors of a two-hour season premire for Bones this fall. I hope to hell that is what happens!

Exactly he didn't order pie! I had my pie tonight but Booth didn't O_o!

And I really just don't buy him just being all better in two weeks. Oh oh oh and was this guy they caught at his funeral someone I should have known about had they mention that before?

*mutters "had to be a coma-dream" only thing that makes sense*

And besides don't ya think that either Russ or Max would have shown up if Booth was dead I mean come on Booth's practically the reason that Max is out of jail. And yeah Russ is probably still in jail (never was quite clear on that one) but still, if Bones was hurting like she was in "tWiTW" this just doesn't track.

I will cling to this theory until next season. Because I can't believe that the writers of this show are so stupid as to give us a conclusion to the Gormagon arc as lame as this.

Night hun~ The beer I had earlier is hitting my brain and now it sorta hurts....

That finale was monumentally bad.

I don't watch TV. What's a “beer helmet”? (I mean, I can guess, it's a helmet that he's drinking beer out of, well, dar, but what is it, football? Leatherhead? Waffen-SS?)

It's like a batting helmet with a sort of harness arrangement to hold cans of your favorite adult beverage, which you drink through a straw. Here's a picture of one.

I still can't believe Zack ended up being Gormagon's apprentice. That doesn't seem right. And then at the end, they were all acting like he was dead (picking out his favorite objects, then Bones saying she never gave him anything). I thought it was going to be Sweets.

BTW, they never mentioned how Gormagon got the skeleton out. Zack obviously didn't do it because he was injured in the explosion. So Gormagon got in the Jeffersonian? I was kind of confused about that.

The bathtub scene was great. The rest of it... you're right, very surreal. At the beginning I was like "Booth can't be dead, this is a dream." But then there was the funeral. And then there Booth was. I'm like "what???" Crazy. Yeah it was kind of disappointing end to the Gormagon arc. They just killed the guy at the end and that's it. "Oh he was nobody." ???

I think Zack supposedly left the door open so Gorgamon could get in? I don't know. The entire ep was filled with ginormous plot holes. Gorgamon being just some random guy was really jarring, and Zack being that sloppy with the whole dentures thing just didn't scan. I realize they had to skip out on something like seven eps because of the strike, but surely they could have rolled it over into next year and given us more buildup?

Coma dream. *nods firmly* All will become clear next season.

Yeah, David has finally hit the age where I start finding guys attractive. Doesn't hurt that his acting abilities are growing, too.

As for the rest... well, I couldn't get involved enough to care about the finale. Zack was always creepy, to me.

The whole ep just seemed off. It was really strange to me.
